Christmas FM is a non-profit radio station broadcasting for 30 days over the Christmas period to Ireland on FM and to the world online and via our apps. We are a volunteer led radio station, each year we raise money for a nominated charity, and to date, we have raised over 1 million Euro for our charity partners. We are a temporary licensed station, traditionally broadcasting from the 28th of November until the 26th of December and has operated since 2008. The station is staffed by approximately 100 volunteers and provides a 24-hour service during the license period. The format is music driven with the addition of Christmas themed content, all aimed at creating the 'Magic of Christmas'. App features include: • Full display of what's currently playing with large sized album art • Full-sized album art on the lock screen • Playlist history • Song rating - rate our tunes • Apple CarPlay support • In-car song info via Bluetooth • Live Facebook and Twitter feeds • Alarm clock function • Multiple streams - Christmas FM, Classic Christmas FM, Classical Christmas FM and North Pole

Festive Fun!
This is my second year of the app. I used it daily last year in the run up to Christmas and I had to make sure I had it again this year. Wonderful for creating a festive atmosphere, and it’s great to be able to switch between the different stations. Even before they go live, you can listen to the songs on loop. Even more amazing that it’s free and all run by volunteers. Thank you!!
A Great App-All for Charity
I’ve used this app for the past two Christmas seasons. For one thing, it’s great fun to hear Christmas from a distinctly European/Irish perspective (I’m in the US). For another, all of the DJs volunteer their time and use the station to raise money for a different, very worthy, charity each year. Well worth your time!
Never miss a season without it!
While studying abroad in Germany in 2015, my awesome Irish friend Sandy AKA “SandyBuns” (Spongebob reference) introduced me to Christmas FM. Been listening to it every Christmas season since! Thank you all for the wonderful entertainment. Merry Christmas from California!
