Chronoshift aims to reduce the effects of jet lag by adjusting the circadian clock to your destination time zone in the days preceding the trip.

*How does Chronoshift do that?
Chronoshift takes your travel details and uses an advanced algorithm to generate an optimal sleep-wake schedule to make the transition as easy as possible.

Information such as departure / destination cities, and time available to adjust before leaving are some of the factors that Chronoshift requires.

Chronoshift generates a schedule which tells you the best times to do certain things like wake up, sleep and exercise. If you follow this schedule before leaving, you’ll have an easier time adjusting to your new destination.

It's for busy people, who need to be at their best soon after arriving at a new destination. This includes: business travelers, elite athletes or those who want to make the most of their time.

Good idea, but not actionable

I liked the idea of this app, but there’s no way I’m going to wake up at 1:30am and go to bed at 4pm several days before my trip (my destination is 6 hrs ahead). This isn’t reasonable for most people who have to continue living a normal life before their travels abroad.

Beautiful design with potential

The interface is beautifully designed and does well laying out the suggested schedule in a way that is easily understood.

Some small feedback for the developers:

It would be nice if the system would specify which state the listed cities are in - it had “Columbus” listed and there was no mention of it being Columbus, OH or Columbus, GA or Columbus, IL, etc.

Additionally, if you have a space after the city name it is an invalid field. This tripped me up as a struggled to find out why I couldn’t continue - the error message wasn’t displayed.

The app gives you an option to select that you are a morning bird or night owl, and offers a quiz if you are unsure. However the option to select unsure is not clearly a button and I mistakenly selected the check mark to continue.

If these bugs could be resolved I think it would be a lovely experience.

Crude approach. Had me waking up 2.5 hours earlier every day for 5 days. Also seemed to have me waking up in the wrong direction. Very impractical. Better apps out there.
