Description

This app is the perfect addition for every member of your church community. You can use it to communicate, get the latest information, confirm or decline your assignments and much more. To use the app, you first need access to ChurchTools.

EVENTS
Service assignments are brought to your mobile phone by push. You can confirm, decline and comment on them.
For example, if you are leading a church service or event, or simply volunteering, you can easily read the agenda of the event by using the app. Furthermore, you can see with whom you are assigned to a for an event or service. At the tab Discover you will find more future events.

PEOPLE
With the search in Discover you can find people and contact them directly. It also displays additional information such as relationships and tags. And for sure, you can upload a nice new picture for your own profile.

GROUPS
Find interesting public groups within your church community and register directly.
All other groups that are visible to you will be listed and with the appropriate permission you can also view the participants of the group.

CHAT
From now on you can use the app to chat with individual people, with all members in a specific event or, for example, with your small group. You can create news channels in which only people with a specific role can write, all others have read-only access.
Furthermore, the chat allows you to send pictures and documents.

- Opening a chat notification no longer leads to a permanent loading icon.
- Images can be sent via the chat again.
- The group chat can now be opened directly from a group again.
- When replying to an open meeting request, it no longer appears on the start page after replying.
- Editing your own member fields now works again provided you have the appropriate authorization.
- Notes are displayed correctly again for events.
- Links to the public group are handled correctly again.
- Opening the app via a "Chat room created" notification now takes you directly to the chat.
- Opening the app via a "Meeting request created/edited/deleted" notification now takes you directly to the appointment again.
- When opening the app via a service request/service entry notification, you now end up directly at the event again.
- After a change to the church logo, it is now updated regularly.
- If you open a group via a chat, an error no longer occurs.

The App is just for chatting

The app allows you to view your groups and chat with other members, but that’s about it. None of the utility functions found on the web are available through the app, so it’s basically just a less put together WhatsAPP. We should at least be able to access church calendars or reserve church rooms and equipment. As it is, I don’t use the chat feature so there is no benefit to using the app instead of just going to church tools online.
