Need more clarification on the global waiting list

How does the waiting list work? Why is it in place unless the ratio of men to women is like 10-1 which if this is the case this app as great an idea as it is will never go anywhere unless and until they find a way to engage more women and make it appealing to them.

please fix the matching feature!!

this has improved slightly since i downloaded the app, but not enough to make the app usable. when i go to the matching page it shows me an error message (saying i’m either offline or have seen everyone who fulfills my search criteria, when neither are true) about 80% of the time (initially it was closer to 99%). when it does let me swipe, i can swipe through a few people and then the screen will either go blank or the error message will reappear. please fix this!! i really want to like this app! another thing i realized is that i think it’s showing my profile to people outside of my age range? i put my instagram in my bio (because of the broken matching feature, i would really like to not have to do that) and have gotten follow requests from people who are inappropriately young. i am not comfortable with this and can’t imagine it helps anyone to swipe on people they can’t match with.

Ain’t that good of an app

I downloaded it and thought it would be like every other app it would let me in I’d poke around for a while and I’d eventually get bored but instead I got bored right away because of the long waiting list so I thought oh ok I’ll wait so I swiped off the app and waited a couple days and checked I was still on the list it’s been a few weeks now and I was still on this list so idk if you have to pay to get off this list but i personally won’t be wasting my money for some dumb app that makes you wait in a list so I wouldn’t recommend this app
