Excellent cross-timezone overlap viewer

I was looking for an app that could take several locations with work hours and allow me to easily see when meetings could be scheduled. Circa does that very well and I highly recommend it.

Enhancement request: on the location detail screen, please add the UTC offset. Specifically, I’d like “Location name UTC+-n local time”

When speaking with someone I’d like to be able to look at the app and quickly say “currently I’m at UTC+2” or some such.

Nice idea but poorly executed

If your right handed and move the needle, your hand covers the times
the auto set your location is terrible picking places that are literally 3hrs away yet my mobile device knows my location for weather and mapping, so how can this get it so wrong?
If I want a meeting with people in 5 countries I can’t add them in because the rings don’t get narrower to squeeze them in.

Really really nice idea, but needs some user research and then a few iterations of design in practical user situations observing the tweaks necessary to make it a delight. This could be a winner if the work is put in.

Time zones are tricky

I found this when I was looking for a way to easily visualize what time it’ll be in another time zone at any particular time of day. That’s a task that’s surprisingly difficult with most world clocks.

It’s proved useful for a bunch of times over the years I’ve had it. Most recently I used it to understand what my jet lag will be like for an upcoming trip.
