LouLou is the perfect contraceptive ring reminder on the App Store. The intuitive user interface and powerful features will let you never forget the inserting/removing the contraceptive ring.

LouLou helps you to manage the contraceptive ring in your menstrual cycle. You are getting reliably reminded and always having an overview of your whole cycle. Thanks to the intelligent navigation you can easily switch through the days of cycle and enter notes, your personal wellbeing and the menstrual flow.

With the integrated calendar you can see, among others, when you’ll get your period in future cycles and therefore you have a good planning certainty.

You can configure LouLou just to fit to your needs. You can choose between several cycle modes and define in which time you want to be reminded.

Functionalities have also been adapted and are gradually being further developed. Simply put, we completely redeveloped the app. The old data can be migrated to the new app after onboarding with the update.

FINALLY A NO BS APP FOR BC

finally!!! A no BS app for birth control. Idk about other nuvaring users but a lot of the apps out there always have a ton of adds or crash all the time and the data you enter doesn’t auto save etc. For working busy women like myself who have to juggle and remember a million things having an app that ACTUALLY WORKS and is SIMPLE to use just to track your birth control is a must for perfect use and avoiding pregnancy. I’m so great full for this app. Managing your menstrual cycle is hard enough, taking birth control and the side effects are frustrating enough as well. You would assume that having a digital based tracking app to help you manage your cycle and preventing pregnancy would be a no BS requirement for proper female health. I am just SO great full for such a great simple app to help me remember my ring removal and insertion dates. Because we all know with the ring..... it works best with PERFECT use.

Not intuitive… I’d rather have the old version

I liked the app before it changed to LouLou. I migrated my data but the dates seem completely wrong, and the “ring in” and “period days” are confusing to me? I need the calendar that shows “ring in” and “ring out”. I don’t want to track my period, I want to track the days based on when the ring is in, and when it’s out. I also can’t change the dates on the calendar or my period after they’ve already been put in from the old data. Because of this my dates are just confusing and incorrect. There should be an option to change dates, an option to track your period, and the calendar should be based on ring in days/ring out only unless you turn on “period tracking mode”. This is an awful time to update because I totally forgot when I inserted my ring, and had a notification set to when I needed to take it out, and I eventually just had to be like “hmm it’s been a long time since I put my ring in I think….” Then I checked the updated app and, now I just have no idea if I’m protected or not. Lol

Review

I have downloaded a few other apps to try and keep track of my ring cycle and so far they don’t allow you to do much. This app is the first that allowed me to even change the time I received notifications for when I put in and take out my run. So far I love the app and happy I came across it!!
