I have used or attempted to use a number of On Line Banks to set up accounts for myself or help other family member's. From setting up an account to the processes, functionality's and ease of use, CIT gives me access to everything and more than I could ever get with a brick & mortar bank. This includes Customer Service support when I need it that makes me feel like I walked into a physical bank and have five service reps all standing behind the glass waiting to help me. There is a lot of competition in the market, but the ability to “make transactions” on my time, anytime and know I have every tool I need in my app is why I will remain with CIT even as the market continues to change. I understand that my business isn’t going to make any difference in their success, but I actually feel like I matter and they value my business and my feedback.

I recently opened an online account with Cit Bank and setup a transfer from an external bank account. I was told I’d be notified when your micro deposits were made and I could then verify my external account. I was , however, never notified that the deposits had been made so I checked my account and found that they had indeed been made. I called your help number to find out if my transfer would be processed now but the person I spoke with was very difficult to understand. I was finally able to get the message that in one to four days the transfer would take place. I’m just a bit concerned that things didn’t go as smoothly with Cit Bank as they have with other online banks. I sincerely hope that things improve! Thanks

The updates to correct glitches/bugs are getting out of hand! Take your time and do it correctly the first time. I think companies are in such a hurry to be first they forget to do what’s best for their customers, and truthfully we don’t know that you’re working on updating the site anyway, so you’re not hurting anyone but yourselves by constantly having to correct it and annoy us with fixes. My local, run-of-the-mill community bank took two years to update their online banking and app, they were in no hurry, and we were fine with that. They were honest, and everybody was cool with it. Their new online banking is absolutely amazing, it’s smooth, user-friendly, the interface is intuitive; hands down beats CIT and FCB, and it’s a community bank. The difference is they listened to their target audience (ie. customers, clients, vendors, etc.) and they took the time needed to do it correctly. You’re an online bank, the online part needs to work and stop wasting so much storage on my phone every time I have to do another update.

Why won’t it remember I have biometrics for Face ID checked? Why does it ask me for a password EVERY TIME, then sometimes do face check immediately after? Why does it load a default page, which is blank, then load the account info 20 seconds later? Why does it log me out every single time I go to another app? Say I am checking numbers using the calc app. Then I have to repeat the above steps again just to get back into the app. It’s come to the point I’m just not going to use the app and just use the website. I opened an account based on my brother’s recommendation. But after seeing this app and how poorly it is compared to my other banking apps, I’m worried I made a wrong decision.Update: 8-12Logging in with Face ID seems to be fixed now. Still logs me out when switching between apps. But at least it logs me back in now semi-quickly.
