The free PubSafe mobile app enables people (citizens) to efficiently connect when help is needed for people or animals. Members can share help details, location, and images to improve a potential response from the PubSafe community. Whether shoveling snow, changing a flat tire, or recovering from a flood, wildfire, blizzard, tsunami, or hurricane. PubSafe consolidates location information and alerts nearby users who may be able to assist.

PubSafe offers a contact manager to manage an organization in addition to the more traditional help request response capabilities. PubSafe consolidates messaging, work order management, contact management, real-time tracking, mapping, and more in a convenient cloud portal.


Organizations get a unique automated online form for onboarding volunteers and collecting help requests. Information automatically ends up in organizations web portal in seconds! No double entry or note taking. Dispatching is made easy with work orders and the web portal interacts with the mobile app to improve communication, efficiency and accuracy. PubSafe offers a controlled process with built-in logic to significantly improve the cycle time and communication process.


Dispatchers can message or click to call people in need or field personnel. Dispatchers can reach out to people and communicate details on a help request without playing phone tag.


The portals weather radar helps keep field teams safe. Dispatchers can warn field members of impending dangerous weather future weather radar.


The contact manager provides easy access to internal information for all organization members through convenient cloud access. Document calls, vehicles, training, and more.


Volunteer hours can be tracked from the mobile app and reported in the web portal. The phones location and photos are used to validate the submitted information making reimbursement even easier and more accurate.



Security and privacy is a key component of PubSafe. Users control what is shared and with whom. Users can remove themselves completely from member view or choose to share some information to a team, organization or the PubSafe community.



Install the free app or upgrade to Pro, and get a free 30-day trial of PubSafe Pro. PubSafe Pro enables you to create an organization on the pubsafe.net web portal and join any organization with an invitation. You can cancel your trial at any time. After 30-days PubSafe Pro is $5/mo, with no annual contract or payment, cancel at any time through the App Store.



The web portal is currently free. Funding for the platform comes from the users by upgrading to the PubSafe Pro mobile app. This avoids having to raise funds to pay for member subscriptions. Everyone pays a little and you get a great platform for the organization.

1. Always call 911 or emergency services first. PubSafe is not monitored by emergency services, it is a volunteer network.

2. The app requires a cellular data service. Emergency Officials may not monitor the app or reports. Always call 911 first.

Innovative Search & Rescue Tool

A functional tool that is quick and easy for anyone to use - any age, any tech skill level - to both request and lend services in times of need. Quick and simple to drop your location and a request for help. A great variety of situations in which this app can be used. Spreading the word and getting more on board with the app will only make it that much more effective - and will get you and your family/friends the help they might need.

Amazing tool for managing crowd sourced assistance and rescues

App provides a way to organize and manage crowd sourced rescue efforts after natural disasters. It can also be used for routine help such as road assistance. Many, many options available for organizing and managing crowd sourced assistance. Mapping options make it easy to identify the location of citizen responders as well as those that are requesting assistance. Great tool for those that want to provide assistance but do not know how or where to go to be of assistance

This application has the potential to be a game changer in the sense that we now have a way to connect the government, local Emergency Management, NGOs, SAR, Relief Aid, and citizens in the path of disasters. Once the application use hits critical mass this tool will be invaluable to everyone connected in the Humanitarian sector. It’s been a long time coming and I’m so grateful someone with the skillset finally launched it.
