City Barbeque 4+

I have been coming here for years. Their customer service has been awesome. Food Awesome too! They’ve had awesome Managers.& team members in the one! They have over backwards for people to help them and great service & they have an excellent reputation around here and I would send anybody that I know here for dinner, lunch, any day of the week, & that’s how much I think of this place! It is well worth being right here in Eastgate. And I cannot thank the company enough also that helps me with benefits for many Years! I can’t say it enough thank you to y’all.!!!!! Hats Off! Only thing I would do is this you need to bring back the five dollars off of 20 or maybe even $25 for a meal and believe me that’s gonna kick up your figures at the stores! Thank you again for a wonderful place to dine!

What a surprise and pleasure it was on our first time to City Barbecue in Vernon Hills , and Cora waited on us. She was so welcoming , friendly , helpful , and treated my husband and me like we were her family . She was so caring , and she has excellent customer service skills ! Because of her warmth and friendliness, we came back the next day to City Barbecue and encountered Tim , the manager . Tim was also so welcoming , friendly , and so easy to talk with . City Barbecue employees are all willing to help and to provide great service . And we will definitely return due to Cora’s and Tim’s kindness, and their willingness to serve the customers needs . I opened the app to place an order to pickup on my way home. Apparently the app has been redesigned, so I had to login again (always very annoying). I switched to my password app and looked up my login info, then went back to the City BBQ app to login, and it rejected me - even though I’ve used the app to place orders literally dozens of times, the new version wouldn’t let me login because my password, the same password I’ve used in the app for years now, wasn’t long enough. The app refused to accept my login because my existing login was prohibited now. Then I selected the “reset password” link, which took 10-15 minutes to work, at which point I was already past the restaurant and almost home. So, the app-redesign caused me to miss the chance to use the app to place an order. Suggestion: get app developers who aren’t morons.
