This is the fourth paid release in the touch Civil War Battles series. The 15 scenarios in this release cover, in part or in whole, the 1861–62 Missouri and Arkansas battles of Boonville, Carthage, Wilson’s Creek, Lexington, Newtonia, Pea Ridge, Cane Hill and Prairie Grove.
Civil War Battles is a detailed turn-based simulation of combat from the American Civil War. Unit types include infantry, cavalry, artillery, gunboats, and supply wagons as well as leaders which can significantly determine the outcome of a battle just based on their own personal leadership and command abilities. Scenarios in each release generally cover a combination of both historical and “what-if” scenarios allowing you to make decisions as commander of the forces involved that could dramatically affect the outcome.

Great war game system!
Loved this game. Only one I've played in the series but I imagine they are all the same. Really enjoyed seeing the Trans-Mississippi theater in a game! Very rare.
Only gripes are a lack of undo for when I fat-finger the wrong orders. Especially when moving in columns! There should be a specific button that makes your brigades move in column. The way it currently works is a double-tap and drag. But too many times I was trying to select just one regiment and accidentally triggered column-move. This led to moments where my troops in line were within gun range of the enemy and the whole brigade switched to column and literally ruined my whole battle.
