Insidious Excuse of an App
So many things to say, so little time. Aside from this app attempting to gain labor from a base of desperate gig workers who can only hope to feed themselves off the (often fake) scraps they offer, they do so by monetizing the misery of our neighbors in our most desperate times. It’s absolutely despicable that any group of people had the motivation to spend their time, resources, and energy creating an app that will further destroy our most vulnerable communities and, furthermore, the lives of our struggling brothers and sisters. Shame on everyone involved in bringing this to fruition and may whatever god you believe in have mercy on your calcified souls.
(Friends, if you need work so desperately as to apply for something like this, which is perfectly understandable, I urge you to check out the multitude of other gig based apps like DoorDash, UberEats, etc. Steer clear of this insidious excuse of an app.)
Fake listings, $35 fee for registering, bad UI
This app is a waste of time and a scam. Apple should take this down because they don't say you need to pay to have an account, you have to pay $35 after going all through the registration. This is horrible. I decided to continue anyway so I can help other people not make the same mistake:
Once you pay they don't give you any information or ability to start because they need to verify and create your account. So you go through this all only to maybe be able to use the service?
Lets assume my account is approved (and if not I'm out $35, a scam) the jobs are decoy jobs. They're generalized jobs that lead nowhere and are not made by legitimate renters.
Aside from this app being a scam for people trying to get work during a pandemic they are ruining peoples lives, for money! I strongly suggest Apple remove this app for not following review guidelines (like not telling your users it costs money to make an account) because it is misleading and does not offer real content for the users paying money.
They should be ashamed of themselves
It’s a waist of time!!! They do not explain to you that there is a registration fee of 35 dollars to enroll. You fill out all this information and the very last step they tell you there is a fee to join! I waisted my time filling out all the info just to be told they want to charge me. Say that at the beginning that way ppl know what’s going on and they can decide for themselves if they want to give you all their personal information just to be told they want to charge you and then you don’t want to go any further! Come on guys now you have my personal information and I ave no idea what you’re doing with it!! Scam! Scam! Scam!!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
