Clara for Creators 4+

I’ve used Clara for over a year now. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my work as a creator and see how other creators are being compensated. But I’ve noticed some important issues from the beginning that I expected would go away over time and haven’t. For one, the photo uploader to add your profile pic, portfolio pics, etc says it requires photos 5MB or less, but I usually have to size them down to 100KB to make it work. I also have to add them via my phone or they get cropped weird. Other issues include: not being able to update my Instagram URL, not being able to unfollow brands, and other profile-related issues. I was one of the earlier adopters of this app, so I was expecting issues in the beginning, but these same issues have persisted since then.

I recommend using this app, but just be aware there will be some problems on both the desktop site and the phone app that may make updating your profile difficult.

This app has been so useful in seeing what brands are paying other creators & finding brands who work with my “platform size”. The only thing I wish for is seeing more reviews from other creators. On the main page I’m only able to see about 5 reviews from other creators, wish there was a way to see all reviews from all time. And on the page where all the brands are - there are no categories. So if you’re not looking for a specific brand you kind of just have to keep scrolling until you find a brand you’re familiar with and then do your own research. Overall though - definitely a MUST for all content creators !!

As a tiktoker with a bit of a following, i have had a number of brands speaking with me about content and ad deals. Thought i was getting fair rates, but after using Clara i finally have a better view on what "fair rate" actually means.

This app has been incredibly helpful in knowing my worth as a creator, getting paid properly, and making connections more generally! The influencer community needs to blow this up :)
