Needs a users guide...

Not as intuitive as it should be. Too many options. They should study the Santa Fe New Mexicans daily news works easily and flawlessly.

I've been a regular Journal reader and subscriber for 42 years and have had difficulties dealing with the Journals electronic publication. I'm still trying and it's getting better.

Been a computer user for over 30 years.

Handful of Headlines And A Lot of Popup Ads

Select more than three headlines, and you're likely to get hit with annoying popup ads that force you to stop what you're doing to find the tiny x in the corner and select it before you can read another article. The app already only gives you a handful of headlines without paying exorbitant fees for a subscription, so why the paper needs to force more ads on people they are trying to woo into paying for subscriptions is beyond me. I make a purpose not to spend my money at businesses that pay for popup ads in the app. If they want to annoy me to get me to see their name, then I won't spend my money in their stores.

There's two apps for that

There are two ABQjournal apps that are really different products. The one with the orange ball is a "breaking news" app. The other one, which has more of a burgandy-colored icon, is the replica of the daily newspaper. The differences are listed in the descriptions....
