Mid-Century Modern Music makes apps that allow you to discover, or rediscover, music from the Mid-Century Modern era. There’s a lot of great, classic Christmas albums available in Apple Music. So many, that I found I wanted to collect them all in one place, and that’s what this app is all about. With this app, you can listen to over 150 classic Christmas albums from the Mid-Century Modern era. You can also explore the artists that made this music, including their other non-Christmas albums, more than 1400 in total. So now you can enjoy the music of this remarkable era, all year round.
And the best news of all is, It’s free. I decided to make this app 100% free. I mean after all it’s Christmas right?
But there’s a catch. What? (You knew there would be.) You need an Apple Music subscription to play this music. So, if you have an Apple Music subscription already, you’re all set. 100% free to you.
If you don’t have an Apple Music subscription yet, no problem. Inside the app, we'll launch Apple Music so you can get signed up, and if you’ve never signed up before, there’s a free trial period. So, you'll have a month to try Apple Music, (spoiler alert, you're going to love it), and my free, Classic Christmas Albums app.

Great idea
Revised review: The app has been updated and is working well now. I really enjoy these old Christmas albums and I appreciate the time and effort the developer put into making this app.
Old review: The app just shows album covers. It doesn't play any music. There are no play/stop/advance controls visible to click on. And when you click on an album, there's no way to return to the album list. You have to just close the app.

When viewing an album, if you don't see the transport controls used to play the album, resize the window downward until they appear below it.
To close the album and return to the album collection, click on it and drag downward.
For help, you can also click on the question mark in the upper-right-hand corner, just above the album, and the various controls are explained in a short video.

Wonderful to Play Classic Christmas Songs
This is app is fantastic to play classic Christmas songs! Very easy to use and so clever with the original covers to select albums and individual songs detailed on the back for song selection.
Great for finding the oldies on Apple Music!
Used this app to play several Christmas songs on Thanksgiving from the Frank Sinatra era. It was fun listening to the songs from previous times.
