Update made it harder to search; history function is useless
I used to be able to move the map around and search for hotels but the “search this area” function is broken.
I’d also like to be able to clear the search history. And I think it would be better if the search history started with the last search I did instead of the first one I ever did. Really not helpful to have it clogged up with places that aren’t useful to me. If there is a way to organize this feature and clear out the history, it’s well hidden.
App is almost complete.
I have been a CLC user since before smartphones. It’s so much nicer than it was back then to find hotels that participate in the program. The one thing this app needs, to be able to book through the app instead of having to call the hotel. Other hotel apps like Concur, Expedia, etc all have this functionality. I can’t believe it would be too difficult. Other than that, I have no issues. The other issues I’ve had through the years are with relationships between individual hotels and CLC. That’s gotten better through the years but still a sticking point. I’ve gotten used to that.
Needs a lot of work
Since new update I cant write in the “Notes” section which is very annoying. A lot of hotels shown dont even take CLC nor does some staff even know what CLC is. Plus so many hotels are doing INCIDENTAL FEES for the drivers and not the company. Make the CLC take the incidentals not the driver. Some incidental fees go up to $175. With $50 commonly. They need to post that on the hotel tab so us drivers can know. You can submit a reservation and they wont even know they got it nor use the reservation. When you get there they’ll do the WHOLE ENTIRE PROCESS all over again. CLC needs a lot of work. Also I’ve used CLC for 4 years now constantly. So I understand it a lot. A lot of hotels are stopping having buisness with CLC because they find it a headache. CLC you got a lot of work to do.
