Cleanup Duplicate Contacts app will automatically suggest contact updates if any of the contacts in your address book have any changes in their contact information such as phone, work email, company, job title, location etc. The Updates feature is powered by our proprietary and secure AI Engine which discovers when important connection details change in your address book, and surfaces new contact info or updates so no contact information in your contact book becomes outdated.

This mobile App runs automatically but you will stay in control. Before scanning your contacts, you can configure the merge level: only detect 100% matches or also detect several kinds of partial matching. After that, it will run a scan to check for all duplicate contacts. Once the scan is complete, it will present you with the results. You can then choose to remove all matching contacts from your address book or to merge only a sub-selection of the duplicates found.

We let you analyse your address book as many times as you need for free. Also, the full preview of duplicates and partial duplicates is free as we want to convince you of the power of our deduplication algorithm.

After you had a chance to review the suggested merges and we convinced you that our algorithm does a great job, you'll be prompted to upgrade to the premium version. Once you upgraded the app once, you will be able to save later analysis results for free as often as you want.

Merging contacts happens automatically. All partially matching contact details will be merged under just one contact for better management. The contact management App also works flawlessly with multiple sources like Gmail and iCloud to keep all duplicate contacts centralised.

Finally an App that works

I have tried so many apps trying to get rid of duplicates so many made it worse. I went from 18,000 contacts to 30,000 contacts to 40,000 contacts to 60,000 contacts and almost everything were duplicates I tried five or six different contact duplicate apps and none of them worked. In fact most of them made it worse. This one works I’m now down to 15,800 contacts which is about right and it matches with my Google contacts . I use an iPhone and I finally where I should be with my contacts. Thank you ! Thank you! Thank you! Five stars is not enough.

Lost a lot of contacts

I gave it one extra star because I was able to actually get rid of hundreds of duplicate contacts. However, I had assumed that those duplicates might actually merge into one contact so if there was data in one CV and not in another, they would combine missing data into a more comprehensive, complete contact. But no, instead it took just one (random?) duplicate and dropped all others. I have so many contacts and I’m not sure where they were added from: iPhone, Google, business emails, random website additions… who knows, but I don’t have time to go through over 1500 contacts and clean up every one of them. That’s why I wanted an app like this. I would love to give this a 5 star rating if you were able to restore my lost contacts and then merge all data from one name into one full and complete CV, then go ahead and remove the duplicates. I must say, I completely lost some names altogether as well. I’m not sure how some name’s duplicates were ALL considered dupes and were then ALL removed. 🤷🏻‍♂️ please do an update where contacts from multiple sources will be merged into one. Thanks.

Worthless, Non-functional

This app has accomplished nothing but waste my time. Installed it and clicked “Analyze”, which it says should take less than a minute. App continually stalled while analyzing. On a few tries, after 5 minutes it was not complete. Leaving the app to check other apps meant it went back to its start page. Rebooted phone and re-ran app but same result.

I decided to leave on Analyze overnight. 5 hours later I woke up and Analyze was complete, so “less than a minute” is some time between 5 minutes and 5 hours. Then ran request to Clean Up the found duplicates. App crashed when it said it was 40% done with that process. Repeated entire process from Analyze, which this time took 11 minutes, and ran Clean Up again and this time app crashed after it said it was 41% done. Maybe if I go through this 60 more times I’ll have built up to 100% complete on Clean Up but I’ve lost all faith on the app and no duplicates have actually been cleaned. Will delete app.
