Cleanup: Phone Storage Cleaner 4+

I’m not the guy who rates apps just to get my two cents in the conversation. In fact I rarely do any of the text work myself. I just don’t bother. However in this case, I have to say it seems that the developers did a good job putting this one out for people.
Price is a bit steep, and honestly I would never have tried it if not for the FREE ONE WEEK TRIAL period. I am 66 and retired, I am the online customer that would benefit from having this installed. Again though, cost vs. fixed income.?
So in closing I will say that the Dr. Sheldon Coopers and the real life nerds have made an app that is easy to use and seemingly works the way it’s expected. I just got it and I am going off the installation picture doubles removal, and the video compression. We will see.

I did not order this but was charged about 7-8 weeks. The charge is every 7 days. 6.41 every week. I did not order this but someone did . It was not me but it is my phone so I have to be responsible for what happens on my phone. I get that. When I figured out that this app was taking 6.41 every week I immediately went about getting the charge stopped. I tried to recoup some of the money they had taken from my account. I called and explained to them that I did not order it. When I ask for some of the money back as they can tell that this app was only used once. The lady on the phone was very nice and said that I would see a refund on my bank records. I am over 65 and on a very tight budget. I have very little money for groceries after my bills are paid so I waited but the refund never came. These apps are money hungry and they could care less about what is happening in real life. I researched what this app does and it only deletes doubles of your photos. This is not worth even 6.41 monthly much less 6.41 weekly. It is pathetic the length that people go to fill their banks and deplete ours. I was lied to and that is why I wrote this review.

I used this app for about a month. It did clean out about 2000 of my photos, which were taking up a significant amount of my phone storage. However, the rest of the 18,000 photos had to be reviewed to prevent in intentional deletes. Once done. I canceled my subscription. A week later my phone storage was alerting me that it was full. Made no sense.

I did some research. A tech site suggestion I “Time Travel” (turn date back) check to see if the photos I thought I deleted, “Ghost Files” were there. Indeed, year by year, what I thought was gone was still taking up storage. Mind you the “deleted photos” didn’t appear, when my phone was set at the current date. Frustrated, I wanted Cleanip Phone Storage App off my phone. Guess what? Can’t be deleted. It will be removed when the canceled subscription is a year old. 😑 I’m coming upon the one year removal. This app caused me hours and hours and hours going back to remove the photos it was suppose to have deleted. I could have done that without all the drama.
