After 17 years in existence, podcasting is still a one-way listening experience. Listeners must complete all interactions with the content outside of their podcasting app - discussions with the community, reading an article the host mentioned, or buying a book and merchandise. The average podcast app just doesn’t allow for engagement with the community or the content.

The Clever.fm podcast app is the solution!

Amazing App for Podcasts

Have you had a time when you heard something on a podcast and wanted to listen to that specific part again? But you couldn’t find it again without fast forwarding through the entire podcast? Or maybe you wanted to mark that specific portion to revisit later.

This app solves that problem with their notes section. It’s really incredible to see a bookmarked portion that I could just click and hear the parts I want.

Really simple but incredible feature. Looking forward to how this app is going to evolve and change how we interact with podcasts!

why did it take so long for someone to make this Clever concept!

See what I did there? This idea of interacting with the content in a podcast is brilliant. The app still feels like an early execution and has some details to polish off but wow, I can’t believe it’s taken this long to allow listeners to see images and link to the stuff inside a podcast’s audio. Also taking notes at key moments in the audio is priceless. I’m excited to see how they improve this already great idea!

Way Better Podcast Experience

The ability to save episodes in a queue, take audio notes on the go, search episodes by tags, search across episode transcripts, are all game-changing features that I’m so excited to finally see come to life.
