Best management software in the game
ClickUp is already the best software to manage projects, teams, and personal things...and they just keep adding new features! I think the iOS app needs some work to bring it up to the level of the Mac app, but based on the track record of this company I believe it will be there soon. And when that happens, I will change my rating to 5 stars.
That being said, this truly is the best software to manage any projects in your life. I use ClickUp for projects at home and work. I work in a research lab and am constantly juggling tasks from different projects and this software has been life changing for my ability to plan and organize my schedule. I’ve tried so many other apps and systems and none have been as customizable or feature-rich as ClickUp. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a project management tool.
Fair number of bugs and missing features
I’ve just this week begun exploring ClickUp and have been relying mostly on the mobile app to play around with it and learn how it works. So far, my experience with the mobile app leaves something to be desired.
Firstly, my very basic usage of some of the core features of the app have already revealed defects that make learning the new tool very frustrating. For example, there are UI defects when setting or removing a due date from a task which can make that simple action difficult. At one point I also managed to crash the app when dragging a task from Open to In Progress. The task did move to In Progress, but the crash ended up creating a phantom duplicate task on my board that remained in the Open state and would continue to crash the app anytime I moved it.
Lastly, there are a number of features that exist on the web version of ClickUp that do not exist (yet, at least) on iOS. Two examples come to mind: 1) archiving of projects. Oddly enough, lists can be archived from the mobile app, but getting to the menu to do so is not intuitive. 2) Creating recurring tasks. I bring this up because it’s been tough at time to determine what features are missing from ClickUp versus just being missing from the iOS version.
Uhoh. The opening band just outplayed the headliner.
I’ve tried them all. Literally - all the big project management apps- to run a production company, agencies and now a tech company. This app is great. The desktop version is ridiculously awesome. And the team behind it? Even better.
I have a social messaging app that’s been featured by Apple so we know how hard something like this is to pull off. This team is running circles around “the big guys” and if you look closely - you can see some of them even trying to copy what ClickUp is doing recently. But have you ever heard a band try to cover a song from someone like the Stones? It just ain’t the same.
This software is a joy to use (especially the desktop version). I even have grumpy developers on my team super excited to use this for tickets. I’ve used it on a team with 2 people. And a team with way more. It can handle whatever you throw at it and more. It’s limited only by how you structure your lists - so a little creativity makes it even better (which is exactly how they envisioned you using this, those sneaky devils). ClickUp evolves with you.
I’m hopeful Apple takes notice and starts featuring this amazing team above apps like Asana, Trello etc (all great, but nothing compared to THIS). They truly deserve it. Much love team ClickUp. You have a big fan in us (Holds up lighter). Rock. On.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
