Once you download the app, downloading the guide for the Sintra Palace was too heavy and it take too much time, almost completed the visit by the time it downloaded. Useless

The guide has a size of 46MB and typically takes 1.5 to 3 minutes to download, depending on your connection speed (Wi-Fi or 5G). If the download was unusually slow, it may have been due to connectivity issues.

We recommend pre-downloading the app at the entrance, where the connection tends to be stronger. Additionally, our app offers a streaming mode, allowing you to begin without waiting for the full download.

This app provides the worst audio guide experience I’ve ever had. Between the confusing back button behavior, the constant nagging to rate tours, and the lack of continuous play or even next and previous track buttons, it feels like actually listening to your audio tour was the last priority when this app was designed. In fact, I doubt that there was even a UX designer involved in the process. The app clearly uses outdated API’s and doesn’t even work properly with the App Store and native playback widget.

Downloading a tour ahead of time is also very opaque and two people in my party were forced to wait to download the tour over a spotty connection in the mountains before they could enjoy the tour.

And yes, I design apps for a living.

Dear intuitive_displays, we thank you for your feedback and are very sorry you had some issues with the app. Please let us comment on some points you mentioned. As for the continuous play, every user spends a different amount of time at every stop and chooses a different route. Therefore, you can play the track whenever you reach the corresponding stop. The route suggested in the app is a recommended order, but you are free to follow your own route, that is why there is no next and previous track, but you can easily swipe the screen to choose the stop you are visiting, choose it from the list or input a code. As for the download, there is also a streaming mode that does not make you wait. As many cultural heritage sites have connection issues onsite (due to the landmark's territory or the historical building structure), we recommend pre-downloading the tour not to have any connection issues later during the visit. That said, you are free to choose Download or Streaming when starting your tour.

For an app that is supposed to be used in crowded tourist attractions with spotty connectivity and WiFi service the download start over again and again if for some reason the connection is interrupted. Extremely frustrating. Also if app loses focus that downloads start from scratch. This is unacceptable. Bought the downloads but was not able to even download one.
