In The ClueFinders’ 3rd Grade Adventures, children solve individual problems or sets of problems involving mathematics, logic, geography, science, reading, and language arts. Each of the program’s 24 activities builds on third graders’ growing abilities in abstract thinking, problem solving, and logical reasoning as well as on their avid interest in mystery and adventure. Numerous activities call on children to apply essential mathematics, reading, and language arts skills taught in the third grade classroom. Additional activities encourage children to review as well as broaden what they know in two key content areas — geography and science. Children can play the game at any of four levels.
Deep within the Numerian rain forest, the ClueFinders—Joni, Santiago, Leslie, and Owen—have stumbled upon a mystery. The animals are disappearing. The goo is being polluted. And now, Joni’s Uncle Horace, a well-known scientist, has disappeared, just as he was about to shed some light on the strange happenings in the forest. The ClueFinders need your help. They have heard a legend about Mathra, a monster who was believed to have terrorized the inhabitants of ancient Numeria. The ClueFinders think that Mathra has returned and is responsible for the current troubles in the rain forest. They also believe that to solve the mystery, they will need to find the keys to the ancient Lost City. Rescuing Uncle Horace and the animals, stopping Mathra, and restoring order to the rain forest will take courage, patience, and many different types of skills. The ClueFinders are waiting for you. Are you ready to join them on their important mission?

Same Problem as uglypottamus… Crashes at last level.
My little twin brothers adored with game and whipped through it- unfortunately, they had the same issue as uglypottamus where the game crashed right as the kids moved to the final level of the game. It was so dissappointing for them to work so hard to get there and need to start all over. :(
Hopefully it will be fixed soon?
My 2ed grader has been working on this game obsessively for 2 days. I have to work with him and give him strategies for solving the problems or he would resort to guessing until he got the right answer. A wide variety of skills are addressed and the character/story line is engaging enough to motivate him to continue through the most challenging exercises. We are learning core skills without the battle of sitting him down with a pencil and paper :). I have had 0 technical problems with the program.
UPDATED - App doesn't work at all
The app loads to the main screen but then once you click start, it goes to a black screen. Reached out to tech support so we will see if they are able to resolve the issue.
UPDATE: I contacted their customer support and they were able to correct the issue! Game works perfectly now!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
