The ClueFinders — Joni, Santiago, Leslie, and Owen — accompany their eccentric but lovable professor to Egypt on an archaeological dig. They are on hand for the opening of an ancient pharaoh’s tomb. The professor is ecstatic — what a find! Unfortunately, a fellow archaeologist with sinister plans for the tomb’s contents spirits the professor and the relics away. The ClueFinders need your help. Their only clue to the whereabouts of the missing professor is an ancient scroll of papyrus the villains missed. The ClueFinders need to to get assistance to read the scroll’s ancient code and tracking down the kidnappers. Rescuing the professor and recovering the tomb’s relics will require sleuthing, patience, and thoughtful problem solving. The ClueFinders are waiting for you. Are you ready to join them?
Ratings and Reviews
I loved this game as a kid, and I love it now. Although the concepts being taught vary as the game goes on, and it is quite a lengthy game for a 4th grade student to sit through, it is loads of fun. This is one of the older games that they handed out to my class the week before summer vacation and we were expected to take te summer and learn through the game and come back to school without having wasted a whole summer. I do love it.
Not so great
Although the storyline is good~ the content is poor and the games do not support the concepts being taught in an accurate or consistant way. The graphics are of poorer quality than other MacKeiv Clue Finders games. Leary of buying the more expensive game now that I know the series does not maintain consistant quality. To bad, really thought I was on to a good thing.
