So as someone who has been up and down in exercising and back and forth on different programs, apps, and YouTube I think I’ve finally found what I’m looking for.
I’ve never been good at making up my own weight training routines. And this app gives me the feel of having a personal trainer without actually having one. It’s so detailed in providing not only videos of each exercise but a warm up & a stretch routine afterwards. Those things are very important I’ve come to find; and lots of people skip over it. Also there are timers provided If the exercise requires it which I thought was cool.
I used to do a lot of beachbody for my workouts which is still a great option but I find it’s mostly cardio workouts and I wanted to find something more focused in the weight training department.
I could tell that I’m going to like this app when I was in the final circuit and thought about quitting early lol. If you’ve worked out at all routinely you know that’s the burnout round and if you’re not wanting to quit you probably need to up your game.
I’m happy I started with beginner. Even though I’m not excessively overweight I’m clearly not in shape either. The only inconvenience I found is my music stopping when I watch the exercise videos and then I have to restart it. Over all I highly recommend this app.
And remember if you find the beginner too hard that you can always customize the workouts to be free of weights or even less reps. It’s all about just making sure you do it❣️
*there is also nutrition guidance and bonus workouts. It’s not overly expensive which was also important for me as I have 4 kids and have to workout at home. There are gym based and home based workouts all for $10 a month. This lady knows what she’s doing!
