Don’t waste your money
After installing the application I wrote a few C++ source files. Everything worked more or less as expected. After a while, I returned to the application and attempted to open the files that had been created earlier. I navigated to the directory containing the files and was unable to open any of them. I checked the permissions and they’re all readable and writable. Setting the filter to C++ or All files had no effect. I was able to open files in the Downloads directory but no other.
