I really like Collabor8 and tell everyone about it. The only thing I do not like is that brands will accept collaborations with you and then there’s no more communication. They seem to just «ghost” you. I think brands need to be accountable. If they do not respond within x amount of days, they get a warning. If they do it more than once then they need to have a note attached to their profile saying that they have a low response rate. This lets the collaborater know that it’s a risky collaboration. I love the app and the opportunities it has provided. I did not start having issues with these brands until a few months ago. Hopefully, this can be rectified.

✨@theasiajade to see my Collabor8 on IG✨I am a model (10+ years) and have a Bachelors of Science in Media Communications, just to set the scene. The service that Collabor8 provides myself and others that wish to help small business owners expand their reach is not like any I have experienced. In the beginning, yes you are waiting to hear from brands to collaborate with. Biting your nails and on edge because for once you took the initiative to reach out to a brand, but then one comes in and you feel validated. ‼️DO NOT MISS YOUR DEADLINES ‼️Super important. Brands are able to leave reviews for you as well. Also, I recommend buying the standard package after your first go around collaborating with a brand.

Collabor8 has definitely exceeded my expectations! I love the variety of brands that are offered, as you’ll not only find opportunities with well known brands, but businesses just starting out too that really just need help branching out and getting their names out there! Collabor8 provides a more personal experience too, giving you the opportunity to communicate directly with the brands you work with, and giving you more leeway when it comes to terms of payment. Collabor8 is definitely one of my most used platforms, and it’s connected me with some pretty incredible businesses! 10/10 recommend!

Do not pay for the subscription. I am paying for a membership so I can connect with more brands but I have yet to get a collaboration. I have sent dozens of requests. When I try to message directly I am not seeing a way to get it started unless they start it. I have 1 that wanted a trade only. But otherwise no partner oops. When you find a brand you like you click request but are unable to message them. They go to sent mailbox as requested. I tried messaging a few that I requested on IG with no response. My rates are very low. Just enough to feel like it is worth my time and effort to stage and take the photos. I reached out to the team through the app with no response. Seems silly for a quality influencer to pay to maybe get selected to post about a free product. Oh and you have to buy it and they reimburse you.
