ColorNoise 4+

Brown noise is the magic secret for focus or even getting good sleep. I usually see white noise offered in sound generators, so I was delighted to see that this app offers brown noise and it sounds great! I suppose my only complaints are that the noise stops when I open the app's Settings screen and I'm bummed to see that the colored menu bar icon was removed rather than an option provided in Settings to pick whether I want the colored, white, or maybe even an outline version of the icon. Could also be neat to have some equalizer settings to make the brown noise even browner. By that I mean a sound with even more rich bass tones. Anyways, thanks for the nice app!

Equalizer is very good idea! I was thinking about the equalizer too, and there have been other requests for it as well, so I’ll definitely be adding that feature to enhance the brown noise with richer bass tones. Stay tuned for the update, and thanks again for using the app!

This is a great little app that does one thing and does it well. I had an issue with the UI having a dark overlay in light mode and complained about it in my previous review. The developer quickly fixed the problem and now I am very happy. Every other brown noise app is bloated by comparison. However I am now worried about the “Stay tuned for something big!” message in What’s New which could change my mind. Hopefully not since I love this little app.
