Banking in the palm of my hand
The many options that are clearly and logically presented in this app have been incredibly helpful. I don’t love how long it takes to load, though. I use 5 different apps for my banking and this one consistently takes longer than the others to load. My favorite aspect of this app is how quickly it logs me out. I seriously love that if I am using it on a bark bench or in public and feel like someone else is paying more attention than they should, I can simply hit Logout and the sign-in screen immediately slides in over the top of whatever I was doing. It’s a great privacy feature that I don’t see in my other banking apps.
Things that don’t work the way they should
Your app is getting better, but the biggest problem I have with it is it doesn’t seem to update current balances in real time. I check my balances several times a day and it will give an available balance one evening and a different one the next morning with no apparent debits or credits. It would probably help to understand what the time frames are for posting debits and especially checks.
I have alerts on all my accounts and periodically I get a OD charge even though I show a positive balance in the late evening and the next morning at 5:45 am I show a negative balance PLUS an OD charge and and have been given no time to correct the shortage. What good is the alert if you don’t have time to respond to it???
Doesn’t Refresh Accounts
The app is essentially just running the mobile version on an app, but worse.
Problem: Today I needed money fast so my dad transferred it directly from his Columbia account. Usually this happens instantly, but after 30 min of checking the app, the money still showed as pending. I called customer service only to find that the money was in fact in my account, and the app wasn’t refreshing. I checked the mobile site and it was properly showing the money available. Very annoying that the app was working worse than the mobile site!
Developers, please add an ability to refresh accounts, or figure out how to refresh in real time! Until then, you’re stuck with 2 stars.
