Description
Communion is the church communication platform used to maintain fellowship and unity in a society that is geographically dispersed. The goal of Communion is to help individuals in biblical churches to stay connected with each other (i.e, sharing prayers and needs, sharing gifts, and keeping communication open).
Communion currently supports the following features:
- Church-wide message board.
- Ability to comment on the messages in the message board.
- Individual or group instant messages.
- Email notifications.
- Push notifications.
- Church-wide directory
- Prayer Request distribution and encouragement feedback.

Version 1.2
This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
This version adds the ability to create a specific type of Post: Prayer Requests.
With this feature, users will be able to create Prayer Requests that will be distributed to every member of their church.
Church members then have the ability to send a private notification to the user who posted the Prayer Request letting them know that they are praying for them.

Love the connection to church family
It is so wonderful to have an easy, user-friendly interface without any other distractions to read updates on church and church family.
Especially when I went into labor with our son, it was sweet to know that when my husband notified our church via Communion, so many were immediately praying for us and continued to do so until they received word that he was born.
It’s the perfect way to get news out about a meeting changing, a need, a prayer request... anything you can think of that you’d want to cast a net out to the whole church about.
I also personally love the Directory feature, so all phone numbers and addresses are only a click away and can easily be updated by members when they change.
Awesome App!
This app has helped me to be more involved in the lives of my church family and has helped me to reach out to them. It is amazing to be able to send and receive messages to the entire congregation all at once and then immediately lift up our brothers and sisters in prayer or respond to a request for help. I believe all bodies of believers could greatly benefit from this app!
Initial Sign-on
I am using an iPhone and want to sign on. There is no option on my sign-on screen to sign up.

I am sorry that you are having a difficult time signing on!
The Communion App is designed for use by local churches. In order to login to the application, your church needs to sign up at https://about.communionapp.com. We are currently offering 3-months of the app for free. After you sign-up your church, we will get it together for you within about 24 hours. At that point, we will send you the credentials you need to log into the application and begin using it.
If your church already has signed up for the application and the church administrator has added you to the system, then you should have received an email explaining how to set up a password and log in. The information in the email should guide you from there and you can use the email and password you create to log in to the mobile app. If you have any other questions, we are happy to help!
