Maybe you wonder why there is an "original" quality if what we want is to compress videos, right?
Simple, we will not only compress your videos but we will convert them to any of the following formats:

· MP4
· MOV
· M4V

So maybe you just want to convert and keep the original quality. Isn’t that convenient?

If you are an expert on the subject you may like to know that you can also choose between these two popular codecs:

· H264
· HEVC

Best of all, you won't have to convert video by video like basically any other app. Select your preferred settings, select all the videos you want to convert and hit convert. The app will do the rest.

WhatsApp Mode

Forget about cropping long videos into pieces and start sending complete and long videos though WhatsApp.

When using this function EVC will compress your video in a way that it will be elegible to share it via WhatsApp in its entirety.

How does this work?
EVC will analyze your video's size, resolution, bitrate, and so on. Then it will determine the best configuration so the video can be sent through WhatsApp while maintaining the best quality posible.

THIS. IS. AWESOME. absolute must!

Probably most useful app for those who need to reduce the size of their iCloud Photo Library My use case: Step 1) On a macOS (can be even a virtual machine, you don’t need to make Apple rich if you don’t enjoy macOS UI) you open Photos app, then export your photos to your self-hosted storage (CIFS or your preferred clod storage). You can do this as well without a mac, using File Explorer app or even the native Files app - the idea is to offload your originals away from iCloud Step 2) Open this app and compress all videos, then delete all originals. This way you can keep your memories in iCloud but at an efficient space utilisation ratio. Anytime you need the original (but seriously... do you ever need that?!), look it up in your non-iCloud storage ;)

After having demoed maybe 10+ compression apps I decided to try this one. Love the option to choose which codec I want to use. Great that it remembers my settings and the fact that it has the option to save the MetaData from the original file is spot on!!! Well done. For this who are wondering what MetaData is: It allows apps like Photos to know when and where the video was taken. Most apps don’t keep this information when compressing a video, the result of overwriting metadata is that compressing a video you took in 2020 will now appear in photos as if it were taken today. This app provides an option that solves that problem 🙌 looking forward to updates, keep up the great work

Won’t compress in iPad Pro 2020

App display and play video fine, just like anything else. When asked to compress it will just quit/ crashes (on iPad Pro 2020).

It works on most of the video files, but stumbles once in a while...
