Amazing

I've been using the free (ad) version for the past half a year. Finallly decided to purchase the one-time Pro version, worth every penny. The ads are very annoying but the compressing itself is fast and I'm appreciative that the date and time of the photo is preserved after compression. Also, Pro lets you compress 100 photos at a time (not more due to performance issues)! More than worth it for me.

This app runs smoothly on my iPhone 13 Pro, so I wouldn't know if performance is worse on other devices. I've never had this app close suddenly on me though, even after compressing 1000+ photos back to back...

Difference in image sizes before compression. Now compressed photos can’t save

Why is there difference in size of some images in the iPhone photos app and that on the Compress app before you compress? If say an image I want to compress shows 12mb on my iPhone photos app, it would show 3mb on the Compress app. It, as such, deceives and in effect doesn’t help in selecting the right images you’d want to compress. I feel this is very poor on the part of the Compress app. Other apps I checked shows the exact size as that on the iPhone for the same image.

Also, if you happen to select 100 images but one of images got deleted from the iPhone photos app before you hit compress, the whole process doesn’t complete because of that one deleted image. Why wouldn’t you allow the 99 pictures to compress successfully instead of having us go through the trouble of going back to look for that one picture to delete?

Update: Now, after compressing the app gives feedback that it cannot compress so adjustments has to be made to the photo quality and dimension. Waste of money and time. I strongly DO NOT recommend

Hello. I ran several tests and cannot replicate the issue you are mentioning where file size in the Photos app doesn't match file size in the Compress Photos app. I'd be happy to help if you can email me with more details. Thank you

Compress Photo App

This app is horrible because instead of leading the user to perform a simple compression of a photo, after you select your photos, and you hit Compress, it immediately launches the PDF SCAN app and asks if you want to Get and Install it on the App Store. It’s very confusing for the first time user as it leads you to believe you need this app to complete the compression process. All the PDF scan app does it allows you to digitize your documents and has NOTHING TO DO WITH COMPRESSING YOUR PHOTOS. What a shame they force the user to go through this aggravating process.

After trying a few times to compress my photos I saw the tiny “close” window at the top of the PDF Scan screen and hit that then it goes back to the Compression app and allows you to finish the compression process. These vendors are simply trying to increase their revenues by coaxing users to install something they don’t want or need

Hello. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with an ad displayed in the app. Unfortunately, ads are what allow me to generate revenue. You can always remove ads and unlock additional features by upgrading to the pro version of the app. Thank you
