Cross-a-Pix are exciting logic puzzles that form whimsical pixel-art pictures when solved. Challenging, deductive and artistic, these puzzles offer the ultimate mix of logic, art and fun while providing solvers with many hours of mentally stimulating entertainment.

Each puzzle consists of a blank grid, divided into various regions, with clues to the left of every row and at the top of every column. The object is to reveal a hidden picture by painting squares and filling blocks according to the rules.

The game features a unique fingertip cursor which enables playing large puzzle grids with ease and precision: to fill a square, move cursor to the desired location and tap anywhere on the screen. The square, as well as all other squares belonging to the same region, will fill in automatically.

To help see the puzzle progress, graphic previews in the puzzle list show the progress of all puzzles in a volume as they are being solved. A Gallery view option provides these previews in a larger format.

Another winner!!

Why am I SOOO addicted? This is becoming a problem!

These developers have taken so much money of mine ;-)

This game is awesome. It has a steeper learning curve, but stick with it. Can be difficult! And there are two different games. New players - start with dual clues games IMO. I'm loving it but have to admit that each game takes quite a while to play, and I've found myself needing the green (the row/column is correct setting), and the "check for mistakes" help for now. Those have been abandoned in pic-a-pix long ago ;-). I think another easy/small pack, or at least a few more obvious rows in bigger puzzles would help. Update: thank goodness they've added Snacks. The big ones and smallest are tough IMHO.

Love that I can turn off the ability to not see iPad packs. Yay, their other apps have added that too!

Ok, back to playing! Oh, no ads or anything, yay! Puzzle packs are a bit $, but can be replayed a lot!

Tip from author email (since this is different from older versions of pic-a-pix and I can't find it in Help) - To reset all puzzles in a volume, go to the Library screen and slide any
volume to the left. You can also hide volumes this way.

They're all winners at Conceptis

Well, it’s been a year since my last review and I’m still hooked. I still think these are the hardest of the Conceptis puzzles, but I am finally at the point where I can (usually) do the easy ones. I completely enjoy the way Conceptis forces me to use my brain!

Edited 26 July, 2019: I still find myself baffled by this puzzle many times. The doubles are pretty easy, but I struggle to get the easy ones in single mode.

That said, it’s the first puzzle I open each week because I am fascinated with how it makes my brain work. Concept is puzzles are amazing!

Original Review: Yet another great logic/puzzle game.

This one took me a while to figure out how to get started. Unlike their other puzzles, I thought the instructions were very confusing, but once I figured out what I was supposed to do, I took off and haven't looked back.

These puzzles require a LOT of work, but they're incredibly satisfying when you get them.

Another thumbs up!

Hooked and shooked

This is a fantastic game. It’s the best one Conceptis has to offer. I don’t spend money on games in general but I buy puzzle packs for this and other Conceptis games because I appreciate that these are high quality games and there’s no nonsense involved. These are some of the most interesting puzzles out there to solve, and there isn’t a constant stream of disruptive ads ruining the experience. If you love this game, throw them a couple dollars once in a while (you can restart packs and get a lot of plays out of them before they become too familiar).
