Fill-a-Pix are exciting logic puzzles that form whimsical pixel-art pictures when solved. Challenging, deductive and artistic, this original Conceptis puzzle offers the ultimate mix of logic, art and fun while providing solvers with many hours of mentally stimulating entertainment.
Each puzzle consists of a grid containing clues in various places. The object is to reveal a hidden picture by painting the squares around each clue so that the number of painted squares, including the square with the clue, matches the value of the clue.
The game features a unique fingertip cursor which enables playing large puzzle grids with ease and precision: to fill a square, move cursor to the desired location and tap anywhere on the screen. To fill multiple squares, press and hold fingertip until cursor fills the square and start dragging to neighboring squares. The game also features a powerful Smart-fill cursor for quick, single-tap filling of all remaining empty squares around a clue.

Ratings and Reviews
Simple, but great
Whenever I want to play a game but I’m not in the mood to play something more involved, Fill-a-Pix is the perfect choice. With simple rules, a spartan but functional interface, and tons upon tons of downloadable (IAP) levels spanning everything from very small puzzles to massive iPad-only huge ones, very easy to impossibly hard, and across a wide range of topics, there’s enough here to keep me busy for years.
And years is how long I’ve been playing Fill-a-pix, in fact. I’m grateful that the developer continues to add new level packs even after all this time. The developer’s other number puzzle games are also well worth trying, though I keep coming back to Fill-a-pix time and time again.
Update: Still playing Fill-A-Pix regularly, all these years later. Nikoli, you really know how to deliver a number puzzle game that is simple yet engaging.
Toggle Button Suggestion
Hello. I am currently playing Fill-a-Pix version 5.5. Please create a “lock screen” option. When I zoom in to make the puzzle bigger, the screen changes size if you don’t get exactly two fingers on the screen. It would be nice to “set” the screen once you have zoomed in, so you can move around without it adjusting (zooming in or out).
Also, please include the “check errors” option on the top of the puzzle, instead of it being in a menu. You have to click on the drop down menu and Rhein click on the error button. If it’s at the top of the screen, it is a quicker option. The lock screen button should be at the top of the screen too, so you can toggle it on and off.
Thanks, I really enjoy these puzzles and app.
Developer Response ,
Thank you for your suggestions. Here is a tip how you can move the puzzle without the problem that the grid changes it's size. First of all go to the settings and make sure that Use Cursor and Long Press are both OFF. Now, zoom the puzzle to the size you prefer and then place one finger anywhere on the screen, wait a second, and then move it. You will see you can now move the grid with one finger only and without it changing its size.
As for Check Errors, we are looking into ideas how to do it. In some of our apps there is not enough space above the puzzle so this solution, unfortunately, is not possible.
Fun logic game
I love this game! It’s in the same vein as Minesweeper or picross but slightly different. There are some free puzzle books, but you do have to pay to buy more books. However, it’s very good value. If you bought any pencil and paper logic puzzle book, you would pay the same or more. You’re going to get plenty of enjoyment out of the books you buy. And there are lots of books (with new ones being frequently released) and they offer different skill levels.
If I had one note to the developers, I wish you could replay puzzles without erasing your previous time. I’d like to try and “beat” my previous time. But that’s a very small complaint.
