Introducing Congress in Your Pocket, Plus Edition, for the 116th Congress, First Session (2019). This discounted app requires new users to unlock the new Congress with the in-app purchase. Current users need to pay for the yearly update to get the new Congress that opened on January 3, 2019. The app loads with last year's Congress so you can get a sense of how it works and what is included.
No matter who you support, you can have every member of Congress in YOUR pocket or on your iPad. Use the app that tens of thousands of people who work on the Hill and with Congress everyday, as well as their constituents have on their iPhones and iPads.
This application offers all of the vital information you need to be an active and informed citizen. Learn all about who represents you in Congress, contact them in Washington, follow their campaigns and challengers, read their Facebook and Twitter pages, and see their YouTube videos. Share any link in the application via email, Facebook, or Twitter.
While this will be enough for most people, if you need over-the-air updates, separate sections for lists of committees and subcommittees, and well as the ability to share notes with your team, please consider our app CongressPro on the App Store. Congress+ is updated every few months during the session, usually with new content.
Remember, they work on Capitol Hill but they work for you.
Our congressional apps have been featured by Apple ten times as a New and Noteworthy application, a Staff Favorite, America the Beautiful and in special Campaign sections.

Ratings and Reviews
Great app - lots of info
This is a great app, giving you a huge amount of information about each member of Congress right in your iPhone. Contact pages for each member are available, the legislative activity including which committees the member sits on (I agree with one reviewer who stated that it would be nice to have the committees listed separately with each section populated by the sitting members. Although contact pages are available, I also agree that emails would be helpful). There is more than enough information here for portable use. If you want more information than this, you'll probably want to be sitting down at your desktop anyway, since it is easier writing letters from a keyboard than from your iPhone. Great job, Cohen Research!
All devices have to pay to upgrade
The info and functionality are ok but I had to pay to upgrade each app on my iPhone and iPad separately. The apps should share a common account and an upgrade should be shared across devices. It was so only an extra $1, but irritating none the less...:
Developer Response ,
Wow. Weird. All you need to do is sign in under the same account, tap on Restore in More and you’re set. No double-billing!
Not up to date
Useless unless it is updated. Doesn’t have current membership let alone committee composition.
Developer Response ,
Current membership can be unlocked with the in-app purchase that should be going live soon. Committee assignments have only been released for the Senate GOP so far and are reflected in the app. If you are interested in it being updated all the time, please subscribe to CongressPro.
