UPDATE: They fixed it, and it’s great again.
I use this app to keep all of my contact accounts synced, and it works really well for that.
The Mac app was recently updated, and it’s faster, and more stable. I have not had any lagging or crashing at all today. The duplicates and updates are working again as well.
This is the best app for keeping your contacts updated and synced. If you hate duplicates, get FullContact.
I use this app becuase I want to keep the accounts from all of my accounts synced and duplicate free.
Syncing is working. Duplicate removal is not. Right now I am having to do a work around and let my contacts sync, but use Google contacts to fidn and merge duplicates.
I have reached out to their support about this, and they acknowledge there is a bug. They said they were going put in a ticket to have a developer get rid of my duplicates, but I am not watiing around for that to happen.
My recommendation is if you need a service to keep all of your accounts in sync, this will do it. I hope they fix the duplicates feature soon. This is a service that you can set up and keep in the background without every having to interact with it. Once the duplicates feature is fixed, this is a 5 star service and a 4 star app.
Long time user, stick with it dispite hiccup as team very good
I’ve been using this app and web service for years, and while it is far from perfect is is better than anything else I’ve tried. And more thatn that, the team is very reponsive and works hard to address constomer comments; they continue to improve the service.
The card capture is is fantastic— 99% accurate— and in a world where paper cards are conintue as the main way to share contact info in person, the ability to scan and forget, having the data sync across devices, that improve my work life immeasurably.
This has some good points... but only a few.
Like so many mediocre applications, this one assumes you live in the world of Google and that's the only place you'd want to capture contact information automatically. Joyfully, I don't have a gmail account and never will, so it's functionality is limited.
It's also very clunky to update info from LinkedIn, having to regularly download files from LinkedIn and upload them to Full Contact.
Lastly, you'll need the patience of Job to submit a support ticket, because they put you through CAPTCHA hell. I submitted two today. The first required me to click through 9 different CAPTCHA challenges and when I wrote to complain about that, had to go through 10 challenges to send that. Something doesn't work properly (or they just presume you'll give up if sending a support request is too hard.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
