Simple Trick to Bypass Conversion Drop Down From Loading
(for Sierra OS X)...I don’t buy many apps but I often convert various calculations in Google. I bought this app because I thought it will save me time. Which, it does, IF and WHEN the drop down of what you’re wanting to convert, actually works. If you click the drop down selection first, ALL OPTIONS are greyed out. You need to wait 30 to 60 seconds for it to load and become usable. OR…A QUICK FIX OR WORK AROUND. Simply click the empty “entry” field on the left side first. The field that’s empty, simply click it, don’t enter any data and then click the drop down menu. Enjoy the work around.
Catalina version available from website
I updated to Big Sur on my laptop, but am still on Catalina on my desktop. Unfortunately, this app updated before I turned off auto updates in the app srote.
Just realized that if you click on "website" it'll take you to a webpage that allows you to download the Catalina and before version. Yay!
Also, the limitations on Big Sure widget functionality are Apple's fault, not the developer's. The replacement app seems nice, though, and one of the better uses of the Touch Bar that I've encountered.
Wish they would add kN to the conversoin
Really like the idea and function of this app. the only issue I have is that they are missing newtons. would be helpfull and I would give it 5 stars if they added this.
