Cool Fonts Pro - Font Keyboard 4+

I had this app for around 3 years. And I had no problems with it so far. Overall it’s a really good app. But I don’t like the way how some of the fonts are named. I think they should change the names that sound more appealing towards their audience. But in my opinion I really like the app.

And I stopped using it because of the warning that Apple has regarding keyboards and how they can copy and transmit all of your data without prior consent (all because you decided to enable to keyboard!)

So this app has a workaround which works for me and I don’t have to install the keyboard into my phone. Wish I found this before because I probably would’ve been using it more. In the app you can select “font lab” from the main screen and you can type, copy and paste the fonts from directly within the app.

So for someone like me who prefers having their privacy remain private, this is a nice solution rather than having to go to a website every time just to type something in a clever font. As long as it’s still supported by Apple (hasn’t been updated in 2 years), this is an easy recommendation.

Don’t you hate the bait and switch? You download an app then find out you have to pay to use it. Even worse is this new mindset of subscriptions. You can’t purchase an app you can only rent it - have to pay monthly. There’s an old adage that the rich get richer and renters never get rich.

This app is great. It adds fonts to your iPhone or iPad which can be used right from the keyboard. No need to copy and paste, type as usual. I’ve had it a good while, maybe two years and no problems.

For my money this is the app to choose for fonts. Why would you pay a subscription fee?
