Editors’ Choice

With elegant graphs and an interface that’s a genuine joy to use, Copilot helps you visualize exactly where your money is going; its smart algorithms, driven by machine learning, are especially adept at automatically categorizing transactions. Neat trick: The app scours your transactions to uncover recurring charges you might be overlooking.

Excellent. The Best in My Opinion

I’ve been paying bills electronically through my computer since 1991 (yes, you read that correctly) when Quicken had Electronic Pay. I’ve tried countless money management apps and programs and always ended up going back to Quicken. Not now! This program is a Quicken killer app. There are some improvements they need, like the ability to create my own reports. But they are WORKING on that plus a whole host of other things. This is the most integrated app I’ve ever used. It connects to everything except just a few accounts. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Effortless intelligence

Copilot’s beautiful interface makes this a genuine pleasure to use. And I’m not just talking about the aesthetic (though it’s so gorgeous in dark mode that I keep it there exclusively): every chart is designed to give me useful information at a glance about some aspect of my finances, yet without oversimplification.

The primary dashboard chart in particular makes a tricky insight about monthly spending incredibly intuitive. It’s actually fun to watch it as I tighten the bolts on my spending, as though it were a gamified habit tracker, but without the guilt-trip.

It’s a simple, direct reward, too, for tuning Copilot’s (impressively automatic) transaction categorization. The categorization has enough flexibility that I could spin the dials to artificially boost the main chart, but so much usefulness that I don’t want to.

“But what about the discipline of manually punching in numbers,” some might ask. I find that’s not for me. Copilot doesn’t try to replace or augment my self-control; it just tells me (privately) what’s up.
