Very elegant

This is my favorite countdown app, after trying all the current options - I’m impressed and grateful this is free. My greatest wish is to be able to hide the menu bar (or at least that the menu bar would visually align with one of the events, so it doesn’t distract so much).

I downloaded this app for $9.99/ lifetime after my widget calendar that I had been using for years started glitching. I live by my calendar. A minute after I downloaded it I realized it wasn’t a calendar after all. I thought that once I clicked on a couple of the already downloaded dates, they would show up into a calendar. Once I saw that wasn’t the case I realized this was not a calendar app and I needed to contact the admin to see if they could help me. I was hoping they could possibly refund my $$9.99 and I would buy their actual calendar emoji app. However they have not replied to either of my messages in spite of their claim that they usually get back to you in a few hours. I reached out to them last night immediately after I bought the app and again this morning. Nothing from them. Huge thumbs down!!!

I also like the way I can quickly insert an event into the event from my calendar, saving much time.I gave it only four stars because the icon I select for display, using my iPad, does not appear in my list of events until I re-open the app and select the icon again. Hi there, we're so happy to hear that you like the app! This isn't currently possible, but we've added it to our feature request list and will let you know if we get to working on it :)

## Dates are fixed on non-Gregorian calendars If your device calendar is set to Buddhist, Islamic, Persian, Japanese, Hebrew or Chinese, countdowns you added in the last update could disappear from the list, come back as tens of thousands of days ago, or jump hundreds of years into the past when you opened and saved them. Widgets went blank or counted to the wrong day for the same reason. Dates are now read and written the same way whatever calendar your device is set to, and countdowns that were already knocked out of shape are repaired for you the first time you open the app. Thanks to everyone who reported this.
