CounterStroke is an application that helps people to predict their personal stroke accidence probability and manage modifiable risk factors.

CounterStroke allows us to change our habits that influence a stroke's probability in the most convenient way and get support and information for preventing stroke. Moreover, this application can predict your chances to avoid this disease for 10 years and get some pieces of advice on how to reduce it.
The basement of our application is a Revised Framingham Stroke Risk Score algorithm, which was complemented by additional stroke risk factors, used in a Stroke Riskometer algorithm, developed by prof. V.Feigin and his colleagues.
How to use CounterStroke application.
To get information about your personal risk factors you have to answer the questions from a small test. In the end, the application estimates your personal stroke accidence probability for the next five and ten years and compares it with the stroke accidence probability of a person with your age and sex who doesn’t have modifiable risk factors. You can set your goals to reduce your modifiable risk factors and track your parameters on a time scale.
