Communication is one of the biggest challenges in relationships. The app supports you in communicating better with your partner. How? By helping you share how you feel, Coupleness helps you understand what affects you - in the here and now and over time. With a better understanding of yourselves and each other, you can avoid misunderstandings and deepen your connection.

Answer the Question of the Day and learn something new. It makes sense that the Question of the Day is one of our most popular features, because it's fun to discover new things about yourself and your partner. We make it easy for you to stay curious about each other - curiosity is one of the keys to a thriving relationship.

Here’s how it works. Check in with yourself and your partner:

* How was your day? Our app makes it fun and easy to check in
* How did you feel today? Choose from 71 feelings as an individual and in your relationship
* What has affected you? Things like a good morning kiss, a conflict at work or a smile from a stranger
* Do you know your partner's dreams for the future? Check out the Question of the Day to learn more about your partner

There’s no reason to wait - get started with new good habits for a fulfilling relationship today.

Not a fan of the new update…

This is a helpful tool when working on your relationship in other ways also, however, they goofed it up a bit with the newest update and thus have lost a star in my opinion. They changed the “Thoughts of the Day” section to a “What I want to do with my partner today” or something like that section instead. It made it seem silly instead of clinically useful. We still use the area for our “thoughts of the day”, but we really hate the change and think it made the app seem cheap and tatty. My partner and I enjoy the app but just wish, since we are paying for it, that it was a little better and offered more in the way of communication options, like an in app messenger section or inbox in the app and the ability to upload photos, videos or audio clips to your “Thoughts of the Day” section, and please change it back to that from what you’ve made it this last update. Where you can load a gif, we would like to be able to choose either a gif, photo, video or audio clip. It would be REALLY helpful when using this is the therapy tool for which it was intended. :)

THANK YOU for all this valuable feedback! I love it! I would love to contact you over email 😍 Would you mind emailing contact@getcoupleness.com, and we take it from there? So sorry about the technical issues earlier this week. You have many interesting new features/ideas that I'd like to dig into. Best regards, Jenny

Love the concept, wish there wasn't a subscription

I was a bit disappointed when I realized I couldn't connect to my partner for free, but instead was promoted to sign up for a subscription. I feel as though since the app advertises such "Coupleness" that that aspect should be free and maybe they could make money through different means? It has great potential not to mention I'm looking for an app exactly like this; since I'm no good expressing my daily moods to my partner. I especially like that there are explore and statistics tabs but those are currently blocked by the paywall.

I'm just not sure if $32/year is reasonable enough to use an app like this long term. I'd be willing if there was a one time fee when downloading the app like $5 USD because this app could help a lot of couples, especially long-distance ones.

Hello. Thanks for your feedback. As it looks right now, you have to pay to be able to use the app as a couple. One of you pays for both and then invites your partner for free. What you get right now is: 1) Common journal where you can reflect on your own mood and easily capture how your partner is feeling, 2) Statistics, 3) Content and exercises, 4 ) Profile

Feel free to reach out to contact@getcoupleness.com if you have any questions.

We’re liking it so far

The app lets you rate your day and then describe it with emojis and a daily journal. There’s also a daily question that both partners answer.

You can flip back through the days and weeks to see your highs and lows, and read old journal entries.

I like the app, especially the daily question, but I’d like for there to be a few more daily activities.

In addition, some components feel like they could be better incorporated. For example the profile is set up at the beginning but isn’t really used after that. I wonder if it could be updated monthly, as in: “favorite qualities I saw in my partner this month.”

It also has a part where you select the “building blocks” you want to work on, but these don’t seem to be applied to anything else on the app. I thought they would give you prompts, activities or advice regarding to these topics.

Improvements:
I’d like to see more emoji options, more daily activities, and more selections on “what made your day good or bad.” The “other” option on this should let you type your own.
