Although I am sure this tutorial is full of excellent info, any buyer should be aware that it is misrepresented that "you'll learn all of the skills necessary to edit video like a pro". In fact you get a little ways into the tutorial only to have Michael tell you he is not going to explain how to capture and log your footage in Final Cut and directs you to another web site to (purchase) an entirely different program which will explain how to do that! This is the equivalent of selling a book with the first fifty pages ripped out and telling you if you want to know what happened in the missing pages you will have to buy another book. There is nothing you can do in Final Cut if you don't know how to import your footage...the vital first step in editing anything.
I complained to the macprovideo site and a man graciously responded and gave me the missing video for the frustration. Unfortunatley, this video is for Final Cut 6 and does not really deal with digital aquisition and is really designed for analog content. I am able to figure out most of what I need, but this is hardly a Final CUt 7 missing tutorial. The essential problem still exists for the next buyer that you will not be getting a tutorial taking you through all of the steps to learn how to edit in Final Cut 7.
Until Michael updates his tutorial to be what it is advertised to be ( a complete Final Cut 7 Tutorial, I cannot recommend this. There are plenty of Final Cut 7 tutorials out there for purchase which are complete.

Great Tutorial

This is an excellent tutorial for anyone who wants to edit videos like a professional. The language of the audio is very clear wich is really important.
It shows you from the most essentials tools and concepts that you actually need, up to more avanced functions and effects. I really recommend it.
