Cousins Maine Lobster (NEW‪)‬ 4+

First time customer. Saw you had an app and downloaded. Placed our order and walked outside and told a friend to get the app. He was trying, but he was having issues, so he waited about 10 minutes in line. Also had some other people order well after I did. Went out to get my order at the time it said on my app. Wasn’t ready. While standing there waiting, both friends got their orders and I had to wait another 15 minutes. Everyone else was done eating by the time we got our order. Not sure I’ll be back.

We drove 30 minutes just to order food from your food truck. We ordered almost $130 worth of food, which consisted of 3 Connecticuts, 1 grilled cheese, and 1 taco platter. We watched the employees make the food we noticed that the portions seemed very small, especially compared to what their website described and pictures show. Once we got the food, we drove home to eat it. We got the table set, and handed out the food. When we opened our Connecticut’s pure disappointment rushed through all of us. The buns were only 4” long, there was no butter and absolutely no lemon on them, and to top it off not allot of lobster. For us to pay $24 per sandwich and have it be SO SMALL. I just am at a loss for words. We all ate the sandwiches within 3 bites, and honestly… are still so hungry! I don’t know if this is the normal for their business, I am truly hoping it’s not.

Complete false advertising from this app. They display this as a way to skip the line but this is not true at all. You place your order and pay for your food and then have to wait until the displayed time the app gives you (even though it was requested ASAP). In our experience, the displayed wait time in the app was over an hour and the actual wait time was around 15 minutes. People who were not even in line when we arrived are now receiving their food before us. This app is only useful if you don’t feel like standing to wait in line. Don’t expect that you’ll be able to “skip the line” because this is not that case. The food from Cousins Maine Lobster is very good but this experience has turned me away from seeking them out again.
