Crazy Cooking Star Chef 4+

I have tried numerous other cooking games but have not stayed with them because it gets harder to acquire diamonds (or jewels) and u need then to advance or you need “boost” to get you through the levels and they cost

This game really does not require you purchase anything, all you need is patience. You have, each day, the ability to earn 10 diamonds and 5000 coins just by watching ads. I was able to gain a significant amount of both from just doing that everyday for a month

You also have daily tasks that can earn you coins & diamonds

You also earn coins for stages completed and by leveling up. The upgrade to kitchen or interior are not at all expensive and you will be able to afford if you just take some time to collect your daily diamonds and coins

Even if you decide to purchase coins, diamonds or desert packs (which I have done on occasion) the price does not seem as steep as other games

And with new restaurants added all the time you don’t get bored and have plenty to choose from

So in conclusion, this is the BEST cooking game I have around and I very happily give it 5 stars

I give it 4 stars because while it is fun and has just enough challenge to keep you playing, the amount of gems you can earn is pretty low. They ask a lot to upgrade, jumping from 1-10 in the first level (from the lowest to the highest upgrade) to 3-15 per upgrade in the second. As I’ve only opened the first two restaurants I can only hope they don’t continue going up per upgrade in each! I don’t want to spend a bunch of money to be able to play and quite honestly as you get in the higher levels, you NEED gems in order to upgrade or you won’t be able to reach the keys on each level to open the next restaurant. (Or you can pay with a mixture of coins and gems, but with gems so hard to come up with, that’s not really an option unless you want to pay with real money) I did pay to get rid of ads (because they’re relentless! Between each level AND before you can go back to the main menu!) But I bought a gem pack in order to get rid of them. (Any purchase gets rid of ads, which is nice) I just wish we could use in game coins to buy gems, that’d be a nice upgrade! I will probably spend a few more dollars to play this game, as I do like to support the creators of good games! But would love more opportunities to earn/buy gems without spending real money.

Is a good game. I actually started playing on Facebook, where it’s absolutely impossible to really earn gems. It does give you a chance to map out a strategy for how you can go about being frugal.

I did pay the .99 for no ads. Regardless, you’re going to have to watch ads. Lots of ads. There’s a limit for attaining gems with ads. 10. It’s the only way to earn gems without paying. You’ll also have to watch ads to speed up upgrades in the restaurant.

There is a little Happy Birthday boost to sorta get you going. The accumulation of gems is slow going. The VIP offer isn’t enticing enough. 5 gems a day is basically not worth the $5 a month. I’ve just really started (got stuck on the fb game and enjoyed it enough to download the app), but once you have daily tasks that absolutely require purchasing certain special food with gems to get 3 stars, instead of extremely smart upgrade and immaculate play, it takes away the desire really feel like if you wanted to throw a few bucks, you would. Forcing it too much.

So basically there’s a gem issue where the developers are so frugal with them, that it takes away the playability and even the desire to spend some actual money. The developers just don’t have the correct balance.

I really enjoy the game, but I see in the not so distant future, where I advance far ahead enough that the cost (with gems) will be so much that I’ll lose interest.
