→ The process is simple → Download CRED → Fill your name, mobile number & email ID → Get a free credit score report

→ If your credit score is 750+, you will get a prompt to verify your credit card details

→ That's all, you can start paying your credit card bills and earn CRED coins with every payment

What is a credit score (cibil report) & what are the basics?

→ The credit score is calculated based on the data that is provided by the lending institutions (typically banks, NBFCs) to the bureaus (typically CRIF, Experian)

→ A credit score indicates your creditworthiness to potential lenders such as banks & mortgage lenders. It indicates how responsible you are likely to be in paying off your loans

→ Each credit score has a different scale: For example, CRIF has a range of 300-900 while Experian has a range of 300-850.

→ A score of 700+ on CRIF & Experian is considered to be good.

→ A higher credit score is an indicator of good financial behaviour.

SBI, HDFC, Axis, Kotak, Standard chartered, American express, Yes bank, HSBC, IndusInd, RBL, Bank of Baroda, Kotak Mahindra, Bank of India plus all VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards.

Will using a credit card hurt my credit score?

As long as you make credit card bill payments within the "grace period" of 25-30 days, you don't have to pay extra. If you go longer, though, you'll have to pay interest. Defaulting on your credit card payments could negatively hurt your credit score, so make sure you make bill payments on time.

Will using CRED help improve my credit score?

→ CRED will help you make bill payments on time with scheduled reminders. Timely bill payments have a positive effect on improving your credit score. By acting on these reminders and paying your bills, you'll be improving your credit score over time just like millions of other CRED members.

Never let me down

Have always helped me remind of payments, provided cash back, quick payments and good offers and products. I remember I once had an issue with a merchant which did not deliver the product and I lost my cred points for it, when I raised it with cred later, they did restore my points too.

Payment did not go through

I made my first payment on CRED and the amount was charged from my bank, but the payment was not done to the card. It was a big amount, well at least for me and now I will get it back in my account after several days. What the hell!!!
First of all you have a policy that whoever has a good cibil score are eligible and now this the service you give to people who work hard to maintain their cibil and pay their dues within time.
My credit card payment has never bounced. This is the first time it happened.
Very disappointing CRED.
For any startup’s service should be top notch because people trust in you but this ain’t the case here.
