Why do I need an account to use this?

Seems like a really cool app, but forces me to make an account just to be able to use it. Why do I need an account? Especially if according to your privacy policy which was one of the reasons I downloaded this app you’re not recording anything I do.

Unable to use

Installed app and on opening took me to nothing. Absolutely nothing. Tried few times and always to blank internet. So again removed and this time done with does not work for me.
