The all-new version of the most popular neighborhood crime map is now on iOS!
CrimeReports gives you real-time access to neighborhood level crime and sex offender information. The CrimeReports app is your window into the largest crime mapping and sex offender website in the world. The CrimeReports app gives you access to official crime information for over 1100 participating law enforcement agencies across North America and sex offender data for all 50 US states.
As a bonus, if your local police agency has elected to participate as a featured agency, you can see crime trends and statistics for your local community. You can sign up for free, automated email crime updates directly from your Android device.
PLEASE NOTE - The data on CrimeReports comes from a voluntary coalition of agencies with a commitment to transparency and public access. If your local law enforcement agency is not currently sharing data with CrimeReports, you will only see registered sex offender data. Your local department can partner with CrimeReports for free, so let them know you'd like to see local crime data on CrimeReports. More agencies are joining every day, so check back often!
The CrimeReports app allows you to search nationwide for information about crimes near your home, a relative's home, your child's school, or a work location. Reports are customizable by address, crime type, and date range. All of our crime information comes directly from participating law enforcement agencies, ensuring you get the information you need to keep you and your family safe.

Used to work....
This app used to work great. I haven’t used in awhile, but it’s set to automatically download any new updates pushed out, so that shouldn’t be an issue, but for some reason now when I use it, either logged out or logged in, and even connected to my Facebook, the map won’t update with any incidents. Not from yesterday, not for 3 days ago, not from 3 WEEKS ago! It keeps refreshing itself and saying “0 incidents”. I even went so far as to check my locations and law enforcement reporting agencies, to deleting and reinstalling the app. Still nothing. This time when I delete it, it will be for good!
Give the public real-time status
This app is better than nothing but does not measure up to what was expected. People want to know what is happening NOW as well as past events.
Always runs 12 hrs-2 days behind, and little detail. Useless for up to the minute reports. Go with PulsePoint for current emergency response updates in your city/county: choose one agency or a variety of agencies (fire; police; highway patrol; sheriff) in one or more areas (1 or more adjacent cities; counties), including locations of AEDs and medical emergencies that could be addressed quickly by nearby citizens with CPR or other training credentials. Nice that you can contact CrimeStoppers and report crimes directly from this app but when you want current emergency response info, CrimeReports just doesn’t deliver.
