I downloaded this app and bought the grey and red expansions. I’m not exactly impressed with it so far. I think it could be great with some further development, like more symbols added, or the ability to create symbols. Not the, easiest for bigger charts, I started with a row of 90 chains and it’s taking forever. You also can’t select more than one symbol at a time, for example if you wanted to move or resize a section.

Disappointed

I downloaded the app thinking it might help in drawing crochet charts and find it EXTREMELY disappointing. No instructions, have to manipulate the screen to even start a new chart and VERY limited symbols. It was full of ads so I spent the $2.99 to remove the ads thinking maybe that would open up the menus and add more symbols. It did neither. I consider this a total and complete waste of money. Do not bother downloading it.

The opening screen it completely white that only shows search box. If you tap in left corner blank space a "purchase or restore" windows appears.

If you type on the right corner blank space the creation window appears. There is the ? with limited instruction on moving the canvas and a whopping 7 crochet symbols.

What shows on the App Store pictures is not anything that actually shows on my iPhone or my iPad. I tried in on both devices with the same result.

This app is completely disappointing, not user friendly, and a waste if the $2.99 I paid to get rid of the ads thinking that $2.99 would give me better instructions and tools.

I will not be recommending it to any of the crochet community that I design patterns for.

I feel really sorry for what you’ve been through with this App. And really appreciate to share your thinking. :)
Actually, there are some instructions on the top of the screen with “?” marked button.
And first canvas’ location is on its center. So if you want to start with the other side, it has to moved by users.
If you want more symbols, tell me. I will update it ASAP.

I found that problem occurs only in iOS 13.

Not Ready For Use

Well, this is the hardest possible way to create a pattern. It would take me 10 years just to create a basic motif. The most basic items exist, but the buttons & tools don’t respond. The stitch library has only a couple of very simple stitches, then a few very complex ones, but about none of the middle, common stitches. This thing works like the programmer has an ego problem & refuses to understand what is actually needed. It’s impossible to line up or orient anything. The rotator is a weird illogical dial in the tool bar instead of being a handle on the stitches. I could go on, but…

Whoever is writing this app clearly doesn’t crochet and needs to listen to and OBEY THE ACTUAL CROCHETER.
