i’d been using poshmark and depop to sell my stuff…. & i always had a giant pile of stuff waiting to be photographed, listed etc. until half the time i’d end up getting sick of it and selling it to buffalo exchange for like 25 cents. croissant has been a GAMECHANGER. i know exactly how much im going to get paid out before i send my stuff in. and i’ve been using the extension, too, and knowing exactly how much i could sell my stuff for is so nice. i’ve never seen anything like this before but now i feel like i never want to list anything ever again lol
I absolutely love using the Croissant app! It's so easy to use, and it has really helped me discover ways of saving money on shopping fashion/branded products. The app is user-friendly, and I love how it keeps me updated on new extension merchants added or where all the buy back deals are available. Resale of items that I don't need anymore is just a click away at the comfort of using the app. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves to shop and want to keep their closets clean at the same time.
This app is amazing! I’m usually way too lazy to deal with reselling my old stuff (or remembering the old stuff I even own) but once I downloaded croissant and linked my email it did its little magic and found all sorts of forgotten stuff that was worth some money. I haven’t sent in a ton of items yet but the ones I have were paid out quickly and easily. Definitely will be my go to for resale in the future!!

I did not get the full amount of the sale. Which is fine because I’m assuming I’ll get the unapproved clothes back but on your app I cannot see past sales to see which items were approved nor does it say in that email that I am getting any type of unapproved clothes back at this point it just seems like my clothes were just taken from me and I can’t even see what I need to get back because there’s no tab to see what I’ve sent over. It’s actually horrible especially that I spent hundreds of dolllars on these items and can’t even see what I’ve sent over and which items were approved.

You can also see all activity on your items — including their current status, payouts, and any returns — by visiting the Activity section in your account profile.If you’re not seeing your past shipments or sales history in the app, that’s absolutely something we want to get to the bottom of for you. Croissant made it so easy to sell my clothes…I literally just dropped them off at UPS. I chose store credit payment (which arrived so fast) and used my gift card on a new dress at Revolve. The Croissant extension also reminded me I had a gift card when I went to the website so I could easily apply it at checkout! 100% recommend trying this
In the New year, I made the goal to clean out my closet & thankfully a friend reminded me of Croissant. I downloaded the app, created an account and linked my email & I was able to see past purchases within my Croissant app with the resale price!! like are you kidding me, I barely did anything and I’m already ahead in my closet clean out.
I love using this app and being able to make some money off of used clothes. It’s very organized and super user-friendly. I recommend doing the Gmail sync because it makes it easier.
Read the fine print!1. Requires full access to your email (gmail) account to find items, which is shady not sure I want this company reading my emails? Or requires using a chrome extension, which again not sure I want this company watching everything I do through the internet 2. Only buys back stuff you’ve purchased within the last year3. Basically offering 10% or less of what you paid regardless of when you bought it.
Overall, I like the premise of Croissant. My two complaints are: 1. They don’t tell you where your clothes go after you sell them back. It would be so cool to have the ability to shop what other people have returned. 2. The browser extension is SO annoying. If it was less invasive it would be okay, but every time I collapse it then click to a new page, it opens back up which makes me want to delete it. Bonus feedback: Please make it so you can redeem your gift cards without the browser extension. Or make the extension less annoying, please.

While Croissant currently partners with resale marketplaces to list those items, we know how fun (and sustainable!) it would be to shop directly through us. It’s definitely something we’re exploring for the future.As for the browser extension — you’re right, it can feel intrusive. We’ve heard this from a few users and are actively working on updates to make it less repetitive and more seamless. We also understand wanting to redeem gift cards without the extension. At the moment, the extension is how Croissant tracks redemptions, which helps us keep the service free by earning a small commission from merchants.
