Cross-Stitch World 4+

Wonderful game!!

I really enjoy a lot about this game. I really only have two things that I wish were different. But for now I’ll start with the pros.

1) I absolutely LOVE the patterns that you can create. They’re all beautiful.
2) I really like the fact that this game isn’t stingy with in-game money. You receive a decent amount for each puzzle you complete, and you also receive rewards daily! It gives you enough to buy the packs that you want!
3) There are hardly any ads! I don’t even think there are ads in this game! I honestly hate a game that throws an ad in your face every four seconds. This game is the exact opposite of that!! I can color in peace!
4) I like that you are allowed a range of sizes. I know with other, similar games, they’ll give you small patterns and you have to join premium and pay for the larger ones. This game offers you a lot of dofferent pattern options and sizes!!

The only bad things I have to say about this game are:
- I REALLY wish there was a better zoom option. It sometimes gets difficult only having the 2x zoom and 3x zoom. I really wish you could pinch your fingers to zoom in and out.
- I also wish you could drag with one finger and hold down on the box to start coloring. It puts a bit of strain on my arm needing to pull with the entire thing. That could be just me, though!!

I still give this game 5 stars! It’s really a great one!

Great app, but I don’t like the update

I’ve used this app off and on for years, and was super excited now that I have a new iPad with Apple Pencil. But now there are ads! I never saw them before. Today I saw a button on the advert loading warning that said disable ads, and it said all I had to do was purchase a cash pack. So I bought one. I hope that gets rid of the ads because if they come back and say to buy another cash pack, I’m going to be mad.

Another thing is the option to stitch over previous stitches is acting up. I was having problems with making a bunch of mistakes, then I found that option and checked the box and it fixed the issue. Then a week later I was playing again and it wasn’t working. I was making a bunch of mistakes when going near previous stitches. I was going to turn it off and back on, but when I unchecked the box, the feature started working again and now I can go over previous stitches. Not sure what’s up with that.

What did you change and WHY?

I have been playing this for 3 years. I have vision and joint issues so no longer have the ability to do real cross stitch or embroidery, which I loved.
Recently, I guess since the recent update here, a constant crop of errors have been plaguing my attempts at working these ….. puzzles. Meds make my hands twitch a bit and it’s never been a problem in this app, until now. Now, as I “stitch” if I touch a completed stitch, it shows as a error which I have to unstitch with the tool or back up stitching to before where the errors started.
This is terrible for me. If it is an intentional update, could you put in an option to turn it off? I buy packs very often, to the point of having literally thousands of patterns. Prior to the error situation, a thousand patterns is less than a year of game play for me. Now, I haven’t been able to finish a second pattern this whole week!
WHY is this happening? This was a 5-star app for me until this started. Now, I purchased zero new patterns because I don’t know how I’ll complete any of them.

Hi Lilith, this is not a new feature but updates may have changed your settings slightly. You'll find this setting under Menu > Game Options - "Allow stitching over previous stitches". Unchecking this option means you can only make stitches in unfilled spaces. We hope this helps!
