Description

Crossroads Software Inc.'s RIPA Form application, available in iPhone and desktop applications, allows officers to complete the form quickly and accurately.

Looks Just Like the Hard Copy: The desktop RIPA app is intuitive to fill out because it looks just like the hard copy report on every page. Change pages just by selecting the tab. Familiar layout ensure wide adoption by officers.

Complete Review Process: Similar to Crossroads' Collision Report Writer application, the RIPA application allows for either a single review process, or a double review process that allows records personnel to review forms prior to being shared with DOJ. This feature can be turned off, sending all forms to the database as soon as they are synced.

Electronic Upload to DOJ: Using a secure FTP (SFTP), the Crossroads RIPA application sends data electronically to the Department of Justice. This upload is completely configurable and anonymizes data automatically.

Licensing: Crossroads provides our system by “site license” so the apps can be installed on as many devices as desired. Software licensing is a one-time cost. There are no annual support and maintenance costs for the RIPA application.

Architecture & Compatible Hardware: The RIPA application is a .Net app installed on individual workstations and MDTs. The back-end database format is SQL Server. The app can run in a non-connected mode when connection to the database is not available. The RIPA application works with Windows workstations, Windows tablets, and MDTs. The minimum resolution to run the app is 1024x768. The mobile application works with iPhones and iPads.

Cost: License fees are waived for the RIPA application meaning there is no software cost to agencies. You do not have to be a current client to get the RIPA application at no cost.

Crossroads Software, Inc. has been in business doing one thing for 30 years: Software for Reporting and Analytics of Traffic Collisions and Citations. Over 250 police departments use Crossroads apps and over 350 public agency Traffic Engineering Departments use the Crossroads Analytics System.
